What
is this surgery: A high percentage of the masculine population looses its hair as the aging process progresses. Stress, familiar, and racial conditions also influences in the appearance of the baldness independently of the age. The hair implant procedure it’s a very safe, relatively minor surgical procedure involving removing a strip of permanent hair-bearing skin from the back or sides of the scalp. This strip is then carefully dissected into micro grafts (containing as little a single hair) and place in it in a recipient area. |

The surgery: The micro grafts are meticulously planted into the bald or thinning area of the scalp (recipient area). The creations of very small micrographs has allowed very natural feathered hairlines to be grafted avoiding an abrupt “pluggy Look” that was typical many years ago. The donated region of the hairy is commonly the occipital. There the quality of the hair is better, since it has a germinate layer of great durability. This genetic characteristic will be maintained in the receiving area. The procedure delays around three hours depending on the amount of micrographs to be implanted. If the baldness is very extensive, the procedure should be repeated as many as four times |

Anesthesia: The operation takes place under local anesthesia plus an intravenous sedation. With this the person slightly will be sedated, calm and relaxed. The area of the involved hairy leather in the surgical procedure is completely anesthesia and the patient will not experience pain |
| After
the surgery: Within 24 hours small crusts will form from each graft which are shed in aproximaly 7- 10 weeks. |

| Getting
back to normal: Patients may be ask to use moist compresses and to sleep in a semi-upright position for 2-3 days following the procedure to minimize the swelling. The small crust that forms on each graft may be camouflaged by any existing hair that can be combed over the recipient area. The grafted hairs will often start to grow by 6-12 weeks after the procedure is done and will continue to grow a lifetime. |
